Research has demonstrated that well building design, either when participating in a tenant improvement project or new build, improves employee productivity, reduces absenteeism, and creates a more healthful work environment. Attendees will learn how return on investment metrics through WELL -†like†productivity, job satisfaction, engagement, attraction, retention, health care costs can help make the case for office space investments and more efficiently budget workplace costs. PRESENTERS Jeremy Reding†- Principal & Regional Design Lead -†DLR Group Jeremy is an innovative designer and architect who cares about both the big picture and intricate details of each and every project. As a product of Generation Flux, Jeremy is interested in design that explores the holistic aspects of a given environment, program, or brand through every scale and detail. His inspiration is derived from a variety of sources including: land art, travel, biomimicry, and client interaction. Jeremyís work includes projects for public and private clients alike, of all shapes and sizes, including work for clients in workplace, K-12, and Justice+Civic. Michael Vander Ploeg†- Senior Associate -†DLR Group Michaelís passion for design stems from his genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for the world we inhabit. As an architect and researcher, he is interested in finding better solutions to make our built environment safe, productive and fun through technology, construction, and data. Michaelís interest in the correlation between how we work and the spaces we work in, are driving him to be at the forefront of workplace, hospitality, and retail design. His working relationship with companies such as Google, Boeing, Facebook, and F5 have allowed Michael to implement successful design strategies for a wide range of corporate paradigms.
