eL133 How to Caption Your Videos WORKSHOP AVAILABLE FOR CLARK COLLEGE EMPLOYEES ONLY: Prerequisite:eL101 completion Course Description: Captioningis the process of converting the audio content of a recordedproduction into text and providing the text while the recording is played and/or in the form of a transcript that can be read. This workshop will show you how to use YouTube to create accurate captions and transcripts. By the completion of this workshop, you should be able to: Distinguish between popular video file types such as .mp4, .wmv, .mov, etc. Create YouTube account and upload video into YouTube. Adjust settings for video such as video name, privacy settings, etc. Create, edit, and save accurate captions and transcript for at least one video. Embed or link to captioned video in Canvas.
